Just as a heads up, I first heard of this product through my job. I work as a mental health therapist with children and adolescents and the fuf chair is a product that was recommended to me by an occupational therapist at the Cleveland Clinic for use with clients that have Autism, Pervasive Developmental Disorders, or other sensory integration disorders. We are putting together a sensory room for clients to access before they have meltdowns and the thought is that because of the product's stability, with respect to the ground, texture, washable cover, and moldability to the body it is alleged to have a calming effect on those that struggle to find comfort in a typical daily living environment."
